Tell us why you are inquiring about SyngaSmart, what is your project, what you want to do with it.
E.g. I have 1.000 tons of waste biomass, I am paying 100 €/ton for disposal, I want to cut this cost
Or
I want to create an energy community for 500 households with approx. 1.000 MWh of electrical energy consumption, using our locally available forest biomass

Thanks for your time!

Renewable energy

What you can do with SyngaSmart

Volume reduction up to 95%

The gasification process at 900 °C turns dried organic waste and residues into flammable gas and a small percentage of biochar

Renewable heat and power generation

The syngas can be used to generate heat and power, thus reducing energy bills and creating additional revenues.

CO2 reduction

By displacing fossil fuels-based energy and producing biochar, you can achieve a remarkable carbon footprint reduction and sequester Carbon.

ORGANIC WASTE AND SEWAGE SLUDGE

Organic waste volume reduction and valorization

Communities and businesses generate a certain amount of mixed waste every day, and modern technologies allow to properly sort and recycle a large part of it.
However, the organic fraction not always shows the characteristics that make it possible, desirable or acceptable its reuse, for example as agricultural soil improver or for composting. When organic residues become waste, they are typically moved from the production site to a landfill or incinerator.
This business-as-usual practice is no longer compatible with the current principles of circular economy, beyond causing GHG emissions both during transportation and landfilling, where the organic material is exposed to natural biological degradation.

SyngaSmart offers an alternative solution that allows to cut environmental impacts, while generating job opportunities and financial benefits. In fact, by installing small plants close to where the organic waste is generated, it is possible to:
Cut emissions caused by transportation and disposal;

  • Transform waste into biofuel through standard drying and densification processes;
  • Use biofuel to generate heat and power for self-consumption or public services, with the additional benefit of Carbon storage in the residual char;
  • Bring innovation in existing scenarios with new circular economy best practices.
